Vegans invited to a night of copious Bavarian excess as Camden announces Vegtoberfest

Just when you thought more variations on  a vegan theme were impossible comes the announcement that London  is ready to celebrate its first vegan Oktoberfest.

“Vegtoberfest” is the latest plant-based festival to soothe the colon and steins full of vegan beer and vegan bratwurst are promised alongside a Bavarian Oompah Band.

The vegan celebration is to take place on 6th October 2018 at Camden Stables Market when the venue will be turned into a exclusively vegan beer hall pouring plant-based Bavarian beer and local vegan craft ales, as well as vegan wine, mulled wine, and cold and hot cocktails.

Oktoberfests usually imply extensive consumption of piggy products but the vegan version promises animal-free bratwurst along with the usual accompaniment. Bavarian pizza made in the venue’s wood-fired oven, pretzels, and several other street foods that will be included from vendors who are yet to be announced.

The party will come in the form of live music, comedy, and musical performances with the main entertainment provided by The Bavarian Oompah Band which offers a different take on major hits like Britney Spears’s “Baby One More Time” which they perform in what they call traditional “oompah” style.

Queue right this way for tickets which are priced at £15 per person or Earlybird tickets currently available for £10
