The great food trend of 2018 has been vegan and the UK capital has never been short of a few bandwagon jumpers.
The lastest is the “We Love Vegan Food Festival” which is coming to Old Spitalfields Market in east London this July.
As you might expect from a festival called ‘We Love Vegan Food’, there’s going to be a lot of…vegan food.
For two days only, over 20-21 July, the market will be transformed into a vegan paradise, with vendors selling plant-based food to hungry people.
There’s going to be vegan burgers, vegan pizzas, houmous), superfoods, vegan sushi and vegan dumplings.
The festival will take place within a fenced off area of Spitalfields Market, and there’ll be live music, chef demos, lectures, competitions and more.
Organisers say there’ll also be a ‘sumptuous array of drinks at special on-site bars’ – what a hoot.
Tickets are a fiver (plus £1 booking fee) for a day ticket (12pm-4pm), and £12 (plus £1 booking fee) for an evening ticket (5pm-9pm). Each ticket does include a free drink on arrival (they don’t say what it is).
